| Collision Avoidance Exercise Controller | |
![]() | The Collision Avoidance Exercise Controller was made to improve and expand the ability to teach collision avoidance for drivers training. The exercise is also called perception reaction, evasive action, accident evasion, evasive maneuver, as well as many other names. The basic idea of this exercise is to simulate a condition where the driver needs to make a quick decision and reaction to avoid a collision. |
| Personal Safety System | |
![]() | This personal safety system has a receiving and transmitting unit. The alert system can be designed to transmit a signal for various distances. Our engineers can configure the system to meet your individual needs. |
| Trailer Security System | |
![]() | The Trailer Security System is used to deter vandalism by sounding an alarm to announce the presence of activity. The Security System uses a motion detector to sense any activity near the trailer. When movement is initially detected, warning chirps are echoed to warn anyone around that they are too close to the trailer. If movement continues to be detected, a continuous alarm will sound to draw attention to the unit. |
CCC engineers will work with you to create the customized computer controller to fit your needs. Below you will find some of the engineer’s favorite projects.
| Oceanography Variable Monitor | |
![]() | This project was a team effort from start to finish. Our client was looking for new technology that would accurately predict the actions of the ocean. The client is an Oceanography graduate student from Oregon. In developing this system, project engineers from CCC worked with oceanographers in determining the ideal measurements and positioning of equipment. CCC engineers developed the electronic circuits that allow constant monitoring of ocean activity from the convenience of our clients office. |
| Automobile Scan Tool | |
![]() | The last time your automobile was taken to the mechanic, it is likely the mechanic performed a computerized scan in order to determine what the problem may be. Our client for this project wanted the ability to perform a similar scan at home while also maintaining a historic log of results on his computer with the added feature of a PC connection. This automobile scanner was built to interface with a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix. The scanner connects to the cars ALDL plug under the dash. This scanner reads 60+ sensors on the vehicle and outputs the sensors data via RS232 to be displayed on a personal computer. The scanner is also equipped with an LCD screen which displays some of the sensors data. |
| Game Box | |
![]() | Our client, Stingerweb Technologies, had a gaming idea and needed a prototype to present for further market research. Project engineers from CCC worked with representatives of Stingerweb Technologies to fine tune the initial idea and create a working prototype. With this game console users can play games, similar to Jeopardy or Family Feud, together on a personal computer. 8 game controllers can be connected to the main console. |
